The term "literature" means different things to different folks. To me,
when I hear the word, I think- classics- Dickens, Poe, Flaubert and Zola
for example. Many books today are classified as "Literary Novels" - yet
who is to determine what IS a "Literary Novel" and what IS simply a
"Novel"
I am facinated to hear from all of you - what your own thoughts are on what is Literature? Is it a select type of book- or do you have a more expansive definition?
I, myself, find my definition expanding as I have read so many books from James Mason Members, and know how much effort they have put into writing their books, that I do not feel I can can call their books anything BUT Literature!
